Description Notifies or locates customers with delinquent accounts and attempts to secure payment by performing the following duties.

Duties & Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Mails or emails form letters to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts. Confers with customer by telephone in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment, reviewing terms of sales, service, or credit contract with customer. Notifies credit department if customer fails to respond. Contacts delinquent account customers in person. Records information about financial status of customer and status of collection efforts. Orders service disconnection, or turns over account to attorney. Sorts and files correspondence. Receives payments and posts amount paid to customer account.

    Education/Experience

    Department Hub Operations
    Hours Hired coordinator’s will be required to work on a twelve (12) hour rotating shift. Shifts vary between night and day work, and weekend and week day work. For more information, please see attached.

    Description The Hub Operations Coordinator will successfully be able to monitor traffic within our scheduled line haul service. Coordinators are tasked with ensuring departures and arrivals are timely and relevant information is communicated to our customers. Philadelphia Truck Line, Inc., (“PTL”) provides expedited LTL & TL services to various industries. The success of its operation lies in the Company’s ability to maintain a schedule and communicate effectively to its customers.

    Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of PTL’s line haul network.
  • Track & Trace line haul arrival and departure times to ensure stations are meeting KPI(s).
  • Manage traffic in-and-out of the JFK market.
  • Update customers with accurate information related to shipment exceptions.
  • Provide customer service support to terminals after-hours and on weekends.
  • Monitor and track Ad Hoc loads on a nightly basis.
  • Coordinate after-hour equipment maintenance issues.
  • Update data within shipments to reflect accurate information.
  • Ensure proper documentation is captured, within certain markets, for purposes of both operations and billing.
  • Manage warehouse personnel designated to the Hub operations.
  • Qualifications
  • Minimum: high-school degree or equivalent. Preferred: Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in transportation and warehousing activities.

    Description The dispatcher is responsible for the planning, scheduling and dispatching of our customer’s freight. The role requires a strong relationship with our valued drivers and is instrumental in the successful coordination of the timely and accurate delivery of goods. The key responsibilities of this function are to provide exceptional support to our drivers, be quick to respond to questions and troubleshooting concerns and to pro-actively monitor the movement of freight to ensure customer satisfaction.

    Duties & Responsibilities
  • Organizes orders by editing and reviewing for price, accuracy and weight compliance.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all drivers facing communication via phone, Crown and Email.
  • Respond to customers efficiently, thoroughly, and professionally.
  • Ships items by examining items, destination, route, rate, delivery time, ordering carriers.
  • Verifies items shipped by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities, noting discrepancies.
  • Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of availability, shipment date and method, and current status, answering questions.
  • Offer exceptional support to drivers to ensure that their professional needs are being met.
  • Monitor shipments throughout transit in order to effectively meet deliver schedules.
  • Replaces damaged items, shortages, and miss-shipments by determining optimal response of replacement or credit.
  • Manage customer and driver expectations to align with operational capabilities.
  • Monitor performance and available hours of Fleet Drivers.
  • Work cooperatively with customer service/sales to provide solutions for customer needs and resolve issues.

    Description The Yard Jockey/Warehouse Agent associate is responsible for operating a forklift for the purposes of moving, locating, relocating, stacking and counting freight, as well as housekeeping within the facility. Additionally, must have the ability to switch trailers between various dock stations. Key responsibilities to include:

  • Shipping/receiving accuracy
  • Safe use of all equipment
  • Attending shift start up meeting
  • Prepare freight to meet all customer requirements
  • Assist supervision/management as needed
  • Follow company policies, guidelines and work instructions
  • Climb in & out of truck in order to unhook/hook trailers up to the unit
  • Swing heavy trailer doors in order to open & close them
  • Maintain log of available equipment for use by dispatch agents
  • Functions may vary dependent on work assignment. Associates may be requested to assist in various areas of operation.

Passing the forklift certification test within 2 attempts is a requirement. Have a valid clean CDL-A license, current medical card, and be able to pass insurance company and DOT pre-employment testing.
